The history student

 

Shirley was passionate about history, particularly Jewish history in the Greek, Roman and medieval periods. In the 'archive' cupboard in the office at the rear of the apartment we found, neatly stacked, over 50 document wallets filled with typed and mainly handwritten notes and essays from the various courses (GCSE, A level Adult Education) and lectures she attended as a mature student.
